What is an Allergy?

  • NAET views allergies from holistic perspective based on Oriental Medicine Principles.
  • An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity of one person to one or more substances, which may be harmless to the majority.
  • Allergens cause blockages in the energy pathways in the body, called meridians.  In other words allergies disrupt the normal flow of energy through the body's electrical circuits.
  • Blocked energy flow is the first step in a chain of events, which can develop, into an allergic response.
  • From Greek word 'allos' meaning altered and 'ergion' meaning reactivity, literally "altered reactivity."

What is NAET?

  • N.A.E.T stands for Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique.  Developed by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad, R.N., D.C., L.AC., Ph.D.
  • A natural, drug free, non-invasive approach to food, chemical, and environmental sensitivities.
  • A method taught exclusively to health care professionals, which will virtually eliminate the body's hypersensitive reactions to allergies.
  • N.A.E.T can be used safely on anyone from newborn to advanced age.

How is an allergy cleared and eliminated?

  • Treatment involves the patient holding a vial containing the allergen while being tested for sensitivity.  If sensitivity is found, certain nerve root and acupressure points on the back are stimulated.
  • The substance must be avoided for a 25-hour period and be re-tested to determine clearance.
  • The first 15 allergens are treated in specific sequence.  Following the base 15 clearance specific allergens of interest to the patient are treated.
  • Treatment is painless and most people find very positive results, even after only a few treatments.
